Understanding AlertBuddies Subscription Plans

Welcome to the AlertBuddies Knowledge Base. This page will help you understand the key differences between our subscription plans and how they affect your ability to add buddies and subscription group members.

Subscription Plans Overview

Free Plan

Essential Features

  • Buddy Limit: Add up to 2 buddies.
  • Subscription Group: Not available.

    Cannot add users to share subscription benefits

Premium Plan

Enhanced Monitoring

  • Buddy Limit: Add up to 6 buddies.
  • Subscription Group: Add 6 users.
  • Users receive the same benefits as main holder
  • Users can accept or reject invitations

Advanced Plan

Maximum Coverage

  • Buddy Limit: Add up to 10 buddies.
  • Subscription Group: Add 10 users.

    Benefits shared across all members, just like Premium

Buddy Request Restrictions

When you try to send a buddy request (asking someone to monitor you), AlertBuddies checks the recipient's subscription plan and buddy limit to determine if the request can be accepted.

Here's how it works based on the subscription plan of the person you're sending the request to:

Free Plan Users
  • Can monitor up to 2 buddies.
  • If they have already added 2 users as buddies, no additional buddy requests can be accepted.
  • You will see an error like: "This user has reached their buddy limit as per their Basic Plan."
  • In this case, you can suggest the user upgrade their plan, or you can share the subscription circle with them only if you are a Premium or Advanced plan user.

Premium Plan Users
  • Can monitor up to 6 buddies.
  • If they have already added 6 users as buddies, they cannot accept additional buddy requests.
  • You will see a message like: "This user has reached their buddy limit as per their Premium Plan."
  • In this case, you can suggest that the user upgrade their plan, or you can share the subscription circle with them only if you are an Advanced plan user and their plan is not shared with anyone.

Advanced Plan Users
  • Can monitor up to 10 buddies.
  • If they have already added 10 users as buddies, they cannot accept more buddy requests.
  • In such cases, you'll see a message like: "This user has reached their buddy limit as per their Advanced Plan."
  • In this case, since they are in the highest plan, you can only contact support for assistance.
